My name is Tony, and I am The Builder's QS.
I help people just like you grow their construction company. I'll even help you get off the tools if that's what you want. I don't mind if it's not what you want though.
All I want is to prove my methods work and help you grow your construction company to whatever size you want it to be.
Before you read any further, let me tell you that this isn't any magic pill bullshit. Its going to take some hard graft from both of us, but I'm down if you are.
You are too busy to respond to enquiries - you come home from a hard day onsite and the incoming enquiries mount up (if they don't you have an even bigger problem). Then you don't know which enquiry to prioritise or is worthwhile following up.
Wasting time on shit clients - you put effort into site visits & estimates to find out they went with someone cheaper or didn't have the money in the first place
Panic Pricing - you know you aren't the only builder in the mix so you go in keen to win the work. This is gets worse if you are coming to the end of a project with no where else to go
Scared of bigger projects - you may feel comfortable pricing the smaller stuff but as soon as it gets big or complex you steer clear as its the potential for a bigger fuck up
Getting Paid On-Time - Cashflow is king when you have weekly paid trades, late payment of an invoice can screw the month right up
Falling Out with Clients - They change their mind constantly, you don't keep on top of variations, then you have a disagreement about money at the end, souring the relationship
No absolutely not. We are very selective about who we work with. The main thing is that we have to get on as we will be dealing with each other a lot over the coming months.
You need to think of this as an investment in your business not a cost. When I first met all of my current clients, I asked them, "Can you afford not too". Ultimately (and this is the best part), my services are largely free to you as I am covered by the end client. After all why shouldn't they pay for excellent service.
Then unfortunately we won't be able to work together. That is why you need to take action and get in touch as soon as possible. If you don't, then one of your competitors could. Then you will be fucked.
Yes of course. But you know as well as I do, the service they offer isn't really what you are looking for that is why you have made it this far down the page. If you have used an online QS and you liked the service you got and think they are what you need then I don't want to work with you anyway.
After I have priced and submitted your first tender. Integrating myself and my systems into your business is done for free at the beginning as we need to lien up some serious customers first. Once we have done that, we will be off to the races.
Typically you will start to see results immediately as I integrate myself into your business. By the time we have been working together for 6 months you will start to wonder how you functioned without me. Within a year, your business will be transformed.
Ideally you will have an established presence, some incoming enquiries and be turning over £200k plus a year. However, if you aren't at that level yet, don't worry, I've taken a kitchen fitter to a £2m a year construction company in 2 years. It will just take a little longer to gain some traction.
